The Canadian Stewardship Conference is thrilled to announce that Dr. Tej Gidda will be the keynote speaker at the Canadian Stewardship Conference on September 24 and 25 at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto. An expert in strategies to decarbonize the energy sector, Dr. Gidda will deliver a thoughtful and transformative address on ways the waste sector can participate meaningfully in the energy transition, inspiring hope for a sustainable future.

Dr. Gidda is a Vice-President and Global Leader for Future Energy at GHD. In this capacity, his mission is to create and implement a strategy for decarbonization of the energy sector. His background includes almost twenty years in the waste management space.

Dr. Gidda holds a PhD in environmental engineering and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Waterloo.
